Planting, Watering, and God Given Increase

Scott Dean is a missionary to Mongolia. Everytime I start to complain about the Polish language, I think about what missionaries in Mongolia face. A few days ago I came across a blog of his that hit me straight between the eyes. Please take the time to read his article on Ministering in Mongolia. I would like to know what you think.

Thank you for posting that link. He was at Marquette Manor some time ago. I really enjoy his preaching and listening to his presentation.

You are in our prayers!

I always find it rebuking when I start to become discontent with my situation only to realize there is someone with some worse or more dificult situation.

I wish we (the true church in America) could get it. We're all in God's work together. One sowing, one watering and hallelujah someone being allowed to reap. But it's all God. We need to see our part and all work together--but giving the glory to God. He calls us to obedience, to faithfulness, to a life of integrity, working for Him. I'm not going to come before His throne and be told the "numbers" of converts, but whether I was faithful to Him.
Loved your friend's writing, so Scripturally true.
Pray you all are well. I remember when learning language it helped to remember where I was 3 months ago, 6 months, a year and praise God for the change. It'll come. I remember how it took hours to write my first 15 minute Sunday School lesson. Keep persevering. Be faithful, hardworking. We made a family tract and had it translated so that when we couldn't go any further in Spanish with someone, we could still leave them with the gospel in some way. Love you guys, praying for you. Jason, Scott D. is from our church here in Portland, OR. Do you know him because he's from the same mission board? BTW, I saw that KJV video earlier a couple days ago off of The Big Orange Truck blog. Unbelievable what Hyles-Anderson is producing.
